Today, like many days this month, has brought additional changes that require immediate action. By order of Governor Murphy, Coterie must cancel all scheduled reservations effective 8 pm tonight, March 19th. Our immediate plan is to be closed until April 7th, or until such time as the state deems safe for salons to reopen. In light of the escalated situation we must, first and foremost, keep the health and wellbeing of our customers, and our Coterie Family, at the heart of our decisions.
What about your reservations?
You have always been there for us and we want to make sure that we are here for you. At the present time, we will be rescheduling all reservations after April 7th. If you already have reservations scheduled after that date, those reservations will remain in place unless we are forced to extend our quarantine. You do not need to confirm them at this time.
We will continue sending out additional communication to Coterie Guests in the next few weeks through our Blog on our website, email blasts, and Social feeds with all the developing updates.

We will continue to fulfill orders of Beauty Products as available, for curbside pick up! Let us know what you need – shampoos, conditioners, hair color, color root sprays, gel removal nail kits. All order requests should be directed to [email protected].

We all have elderly neighbors who may or may not have family or resources close by. If anyone you know is in need assistance of ANY kind during this time, please let us know. If it’s in our power, we want to help!

Whatever may be in store for us all in these next weeks and months, we wish all of you and your families good health. Let’s all stay calm and move forward with goodwill and compassion for one another.
We’re reducing hours and staffing to accommodate Social Distancing, and we have the advantage of a beautifully spacious location. By staggering employees and clients, we can insure distance and adhere to no more than 10 people at a time.
Your regular technician may not be available – some of our employees with children need to stay home – and we’ve given all staff the option of whether to take clients at this time. If you need to get in, please be flexible to try another one of our talented artists if your regular technician is not available
Retail Purchase Pick Up! – we’re taking online orders for retail purchases! Simply pay by email or phone and pick up curbside. All requests will be fulfilled in 24 to 48 hours. Contact us at [email protected] or via our booking APP.
All Auto Payments have been canceled. Any March membership services will be rolled over into April. We’ll reevaluate AutoPayments once we resume business as normal.

One thing we know for sure – we can’t wait for things to get back to normal. Until then, we’re adapting our daily practices to support our Team, our Guests and our Community. We look forward to celebrating “back-to-business” with everyone again in the next couple of weeks.
Everywhere you turn, Corona Virus is the buzz. While we’d love to live in our happy bubble of positivity that’s our Coterie Culture, here’s how we’re addressing the issue.
Our number one priority is the safety of our customers, employees and our community. I want to ensure that we can meet our employees and our community’s needs, so I share the following with you:
At this time, COTERIE will remain open.
We will take it day by day and give updates as new information develops. Please continue to follow our Social Media through Instagram, Facebook and our coterie17.com/blog for the most recent updates.
PLEASE – if you are showing signs of illness, or have potentially been exposed to the Virus, we plead with you to reschedule your reservation to at least 2 weeks after quarantine is completed. To insure our staff is not showing signs of infection we have asked them to take their temperature before coming in. We have no reason to believe that any of our staff have been in any position where they would be exposed to the virus at this time. They have been directed that if at any point they believe that they may have been exposed, to put themselves in self-quarantine.
We’ve got you! No matter how crazy things get, we ask you not to panic – and if you have decided to self-quarantine, here’s what we can do to help.
Curbside/Contactless Pick Up – can be made available for retail items, as long as we are not given a national quarantine order. Feel free to call or email us to check availability if you need to purchase hair, skin, body products; including minerals and collagen powders. In some cases we may even be able to arrange drop off, or we’ll be happy to run items out to your car.
It’s a fact – you feel better when you look better. Don’t forget color root sprays and hair powders can help hide the gray and are safer and less damaging for a quick pick me up, or we can mix you up some of your personalized color for at home touch ups.
Limited Gathering Guidelines
We’re shifting our staffing to adhere to the recommended guidelines to limit gathering of people. We’ll be spacing out our staff and customers to allow greater physical space between our guests as they perform services.
As Licensed Cosmetologists, in a licensed facility, we’re trained to practice proper Disinfection and Cross-Contamination measures every day! As professional daily practice, all stations, service areas and hard surfaces are being regularly disinfected with surgical hospital-grade germicide multiple times a day. We wiping down stations and sterilizing and sanitizing implements and service areas after every guest. In additional, Coterie is designed with a state of the art HEPA system that constantly filters our air.
